Dancehall star Elephant Man, also called 'Ele', is scheduled to return to the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on June 28 for the start of his preliminary hearing on sex charges.
The hearing was set for Monday but was postponed when the case was called up. As a result a new date was scheduled and the entertainer's bail was extended.
The 36-year-old artiste, whose real name is Oniel Bryan, is charged with rape and sexual assault.
He was arrested in January following allegations that he sexually assaulted and raped a woman at his St Andrew home.
Bryan is being representing by attorney Linda Wright.
The artiste, who is known for songs such as Pon De River, Gully Creeper and Sweep, is also before the court on allegations that he stole electricity.
